How to Make an Apple Pie and See the World

*This is the third time I've rowed this book.  Once with just Alyssa, once with Aniston and Alyssa, and now with just Aniston.  It's still one of my favorite children's books!

Here she is sequencing the events.. the country, the ingredients, and her mode  of transportation.  She really loved this part!

Doin' some apple math!

Look at that smile! Who knew discussing dry and liquid measurements could be so much fun!

At the end of the book, it gives a recipe for apple pie.  I love to cook, but  baking stresses me out.  I have to really want the dessert!  But because I am an awesome mommy (eyeroll) I decided to make the crust instead of buying one.  Yeah.  That didn't turn out so well!  At least Annie had fun.  :-)

She is so darn cute!

Here is her completed notebook.  Lapbooking is not my most favorite thing to do, so  putting the components in this  notebook is a nice compromise.

*The green pocket on her notebook holds the countries, ingredients, and transportation.  The subtraction book comes straight from the story.  All print-outs are from Homeschool Share and the FIAR Fold n' Learn.
